Rats, farm animals and journeys to the other side of the world

Hello everyone!
Its blog time which means 2 things, it's Friday and it's the end of another busy week in class RL.
What have we been up to I hear you cry (or was that just the voices in my head?). Well. We have had a visit from some rodents in our sand (no need to fear or call the exterminator they are plastic and harmless) and they have been VERY popular!
An old favourite has been in much use this week.. The farm! Who doesn't love a play with a farm animal? A lot of time went into building up different farms and arranging the animals into various groups. It has been great fun but it was not without 'mild peril' when a low flying aircraft came past! (You may be able to see on one of the pictures) don't worry, all was fine when we discovered it was dropping off supplies, phew!
Animal antics aside we had a journey to........*cue dramatic music* ...The other side of school....... THE JUNIOR OFFICE! It may not sound like much but it takes a while with grown up legs to get from our class to the junior office so with little reception sized legs it's a mammoth trek! The children hadn't been there before and were a little awestruck at the GIGANTIC children who inhabit that part of school. They were absolutely brilliant and stayed quiet as we crept past classes of the giants working hard at their desks and they behaved impeccably. They were so good their behaviour was commented on by all the grown ups we passed along the way, WELL DONE CLASS RL!! :D

Just one more thing before I go (did I mention it was Friiiidayyyyy?) another congratulations goes to class RL for winning the attendance trophy again, thanks to the children for being so good at coming to school and thanks to the grown ups who bring them :)

Until next week... (Unless you are coming for PARENTS CHRISTMAS ACTIVITY DAY next Friday)... Good byeeeeeeee

Miss Latham and Mrs Lewis
